Kids Resales?????

This may not be exactly the same as 'kids resales', but I found a site yesterday in Google and I shared it with my friends. It's a list of resale shops in the Cleveland area.

Go into Google and type "Cleveland Style Blog Vintage". It lists resale stores and some of these I never heard of.

I like the large Salvation Army Thrift Store in Strongsville and the Second Mile ###-###-####) off of Front Street in Berea. I'v seen nice kids clothes there. Garage Sales can also yield clean clothes with name brands for less. Have fun shopping. With the high cost of gas this is a FUN way to trim the budget. As they say on TV, "Why pay retail?"

Try a site called GumdropSwap (http://gumdropswap.com). You can swap from anywhere in the US by sending the clothes your kids outgrow to this kids boutique in CT. An option if you want to get some value out of all the money you spent instead of flat out donating. As long your things are in good condition they don't turn down anything because of brand, size or season. They take everything unlike resale store like Once Upon a Child! They give you points to shop on the website and send the clothes that fit your kids. It's great if you don't have time, patience or know how to do consignment, Ebay, craigslist, tag sale, etc.

My neighborhood is having a community garage sale on September 6th from 9 am - 4pm. There will be over 35 homes participating. Toys, clothing, sports equipment, etc. for kids.

Echo Hills in` Brecksville. You enter on Deer Run and get a directory of the homes participating.

Also, the Brecksville Broadview Heights Pre-school Mother's Club will be having their Fall Consignment Sale on Saturday, October 4th, I believe.
