Hi Moms,
Just wondering if you would all be willing to share some of your favorite websites that you go to with your kids. I'm interested in learning sites or even great game sites. We've used a few and I would love to introduce some more. Also, are you aware of a website with Dinosaur information geared towards kids? Thank you all!!!!

Some of our favorites are starfall.com and pbskids.com, and my son likes kidsdinos.com for dinosaur information and games.

Someone on Mamasource told me about the Fisher-Price website and I've been using it with my daughter since before she was 2. They offer a bunch of free, online learning games for infant, toddler and preschool ages.

one of our frequent sites to visit is starfall.com -- the kids love the letters and also doing some of the other activities like the pumpkins. there's a variety of stuff for pretty young up through reading level there... all totally kid-safe/kid-friendly. the kids also enjoy some of the games on pbs.org (pbskids.com).

Actually, it's not free, but a great gift idea. Buy a webkinz. They are a small stuffed animal usually ($7-15 depending on where and size) but you then register it online and take care of it. It's so fun, both my kids love it. Started when they were 3 and oldest 6 still playing it.
www.webkinz.com will give you store locations, Hallmark usually has them.

I have a website that i use with my 5 year old, becasue she wanted her own e-mail address. It's called pikluck.com you create a kids e-mail especialy for them, it lets you save kid safe websited on the home page and it also gives you tont of kids websited you can log on too. Plus you can save your family's e-mail addresses, for your kids to send e-mail messages to family members. its a great way to get them to start useing the key board and learn to spell. Good luck hope you like the website.
