'Keratosis Pilaris' - Small Red Bumps on Arms!

Hello ladies, Okay I asked a question earlier about "small, red bumps on upper arms" - a few ladies mentioned something called 'keratosis pilaris'.

I looked at the pics and descriptions and it does appear to be this skin condition- and have seen some mentions of lotions, but I have NO idea where to get these lotions.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance- and thanks to all the other ladies who mentioned this condition to begin with! Bless you all! Hoping I can get this somewhat cleared up before it gets warm enough for tank tops and such!

What can I do next?

I bought Amlactin at CVS. If you go to their website and look for their ecoupons they have on for that product (at least they did when I bought it).

I also use coconut oil on my daughter's arms for kp when i think of it and it seems to help. She had it on her legs first, and using petroleum jelly seemed to clear it up. FYI Amlactin lotion will sting if there is broken skin.

I have that and hate it! I did buy something at sophora called chicken skin or something like that, sorry it was two years ago I used it for my wedding so I dont really remember. and I went to the dermo for some cream and that worked: I cant use either right now bc i am nursing so my arms look awful, but if you are not nursing you can try those. good luck!

try apple cider vinegar. My son has that and I googled natural ways to get rid of it and I found a bunch of web sites that suggested apple cider vinegar. I also rub coconut oil on him and that helps.

I got the Aqua Glycolic at my local pharmacy, but I did have to have them order it. It was rec'd to me (for my son's KP) by his dermatologist.
