I don't know the name of it but there is a karate place right next to Krogers in Crowley. I see kids walking in/out of it when i go grocery shopping!
Does anyone know of a good affordable karate place close to Hulen and 20 or in Crowley or Burleson? My little girl wants to go so bad but I don't know of any places. I looked into Little Gym but its just too expensive. Thanks

I sent my girls to the Community Center when they started Karate. It has been a while, but I believe they had class twice a week and it was $30/month. It also requires membership, but that is something like $10 a year. My girls took lessons at Greenbriar Community Center which is on Hemphill just north of 20. If she really gets into it you may want to find her another place, but it's a great place to start.
There is a Karate place in Burleson off 174 - I don't know anything about it, I've only seen it in passing. If I remember correctly it is next to Kimberling Furniture . . . it has MMA on the outside.

Our 2 older children take karate from Karate Works in Benbrook. It is just off of I20 and 377. They both like it alot and have had great success!
you can check them out at www.karateworks.org. It maybe a little farther than you wanted to drive, but I thought I would let you know. The price seems to be about the going rate for lessons.
Have a great day,
