There is a nice one near Zona Rosa. It is pretty new and they have a lot of stuff for the kids to do and lots of interaction with Chucky. We went to a party there and it was nice.
We are wanting to have our son's Birthday at Chuck E Cheese this year. I am not sure which one we should book. A few months back we took a trip to the Independence, MO one on Noland Rd and I was not impressed it was very small and not many games, so having it there is out of the question.
What are your thoughts/reviews about the ones in Overland Park, KS, Olathe, KS, Springfield, MO, and Columbia, MO? We have not been to any of these.
Thank you everyone for you help. I have decided to go have lunch at the T-Rex Cafe ( hope it's worth it!) and make the drive over to the new Chuck E Cheese in Kansas City.
A special thank you to Jennifer C. and Rachel D. for their help and ideas :)

The new location at 9196 N Skyview, KCMO 64154 is a really nice location. The employees still care and it is still kept clean.
Cannot comment on the CEC's in your area but be aware they are ALL germ fests. They should make you sign a waiver saying you acknowledge the fact that your kid will be sick in 2 days after leaving ANY CEC.
We like the one Olathe, Ks, but can't stand the one in Overland Park, Ks! the one in Overland Park is small and it was not very clean. I'm not sure about any of the ones in Mo.
OP is ok on 135th. It is bigger than some of the others. I have taken my kids to some parties there and they do a good job. We took the kids sometimes when they got their grade cards as they give out free tokens for good grades with a food purchase.
We prefer powerplay in Shawnee over CC but it is a very big place so if you have real little kids it may not be easy to keep track of them all unless all their parents are there. The nice thing about CC is they stamp the kids with the same number as the adult or your group if they all come together so no one can take your kids out if the numbers don't match the adult they are with so makes it easier when the kids are running all over the play area.
We have had birthday parties at both Kansas locations, and I personally like the Overland Park one the best. It has the most room and better games. The Olathe one is much smaller and I always feel cramped in there. Make sure you go to their website before you go--they have tons of awesome deals!
It isn't a pizza place but Paradise Park over in Lee's Summit is nice.. and everyone that I know who's had a birthday party there seemed to have really liked it .. I know you can have pizza there.. might be an idea :) Good luck with whatever you decide :o)
We like the CEC's in Topeka and Olathe. The one on Noland Road was a a joke!
Living in Columbia I have been tot he one here ONCE and will not go back. It is small, dark and kinda nasty. If you live in the KC area I wouldn't bother coming all the way over here for a birthday party.
Have you considered a different location? Maybe a Bonkers location?
I live in Webb City Mo and the one in Joplin MO is very nice. Large, well maintained and nice staff.
There is a brand new one in the Kansas City area my sister was telling me about. It is on the Missouri side, north of the river. She said it was HUGE and VERY CLEAN and NICE. I live closer to the one on Noland, but she said the new one is WAAAY better. I don't see it on their website yet, but I will try to find it and edit this reply.
Go to chuckecheese.com and sign up for their E-Club and get coupons for pizza and game tokens packages (better coupons than in the paper). The first set of coupons is the best, then they send more for their birthdays.
