I'm just wondering what other moms do for Christmas. Do all your gifts from Santa or do you have some of the gifts from you? Do you use wrapping paper that's just for "Santa's presents"? Thanks!
We do have some gifts that come from mom & dad, we don't believe in Santa bringing clothes, so those come from us, along with one toy normally. Most of the other items come from Santa, and yes I use seperate wrapping but that's because my 4 yo would probably notice LOL

I always wrapped the Santa presents in bright, shiny, red paper. Most gifts were from us, but the special ones on the list came from the Claus.

Presents come from me and Santa. Santa only brings one thing - usually something I will not buy LOL. Santa does not wrap his present.
Mind you my son is 14 and freely admits that he knows I am Santa - but Santa is still bringing him a gift this year.

I have seperate wrapping and personalized gift tags from Santa, and usually one item unwrapped that would be awkward to wrap. (This year it will be our Pillow Pets - Santa got one for my son and one for me! Yay, Santa!)
I also give him gifts. He MUST have gifts from his Mommy! I give him birthday gifts, so I wouldn't want him wondering why I didn't give him Christmas gifts.

The items our daughter asked Santa for are wrapped in special Santa paper.. I then would donate the remainder of the paper to Blue Santa.
I used to get different neighbors to sign the cards..Some were from Mrs. Claus (Like dress up clothes, books) some of the gifts were from the elves (they were the goofy gifts) and the treats like cookies, toothbrushes.. in the stocking were from the reindeer.. Our daughter was very clever.. We also hid some of her gifts at her great grand parents home up the block and at neighbors so not accidents could occur.. Our house is very tiny, So not really any hiding places.
My husband and I gave her the "braniac toys".. Board games, art supplies, LOTS of books and some clothes. We wrap all gifts. I love wrapping paper so it is not a big deal to me..
Merry Christmas!

I want my kids to think that Santa brings a present but that mommy and Daddy buy them presents too. So we leave one gift unwrapped under the tree Christmas morning and that is from Santa but everything else is wrapped and that is from us, grandparents etc. I had a friend once tell me that her parents always told her that everything was from Santa and she said she used to wonder why her parents never bought her anything for Christmas. So anyways that's how we do it.

Stockings are from Santa at our house as well as the biggest most expensive gift for each child. This year it is a kitchen for our daughter and a John Deere peddle tractor for our son. Those 2 gifts are wrapped in different paper from everything else with different name lables. It's kind of a pain to buy a roll of paper for 1 gift, but we give the extra to Nana and Papa for them to use.

Santa fills the stockings, (even mom's and dad's), brings one gift for each child, and any "family" gifts. Santa gifts are not wrapped. Anything else, (keep in mind we don't go overboard on Christmas gifts), is from mom and dad. The kids also get something for each other and mom and dad also.

Most gifts are from us and other family. Santa fills the stocking, and a few other gifts. Some Santa gifts will not be wrapped with the stockings, but there will be a few wrapped Santa gifts. And yes, I have a special Santa wrapping paper that stays hidden.

We pretty much say that the gifts that me & my hubby buy are from Santa. The gifts that are sent by our mothers, siblings etc are from Them.
My mother & siblings all live in a different state than me so I make sure my kids know the presents came from them.

My family opens gifts on Christmas Eve, so all the gifts under the tree are opened that night and then while the little ones sleep Santa leaves unwrapped gifts and treats in stockings for them to find Christmas morning. We do wrap gifts for our son to open Christmas Eve, but they are things like pajamas and new slippers, nothing extravagant or even terribly fun. He gets mostly toys from aunts, uncles and grandparents, so we try to keep it under control by not buying too much, then Santa brings one or possibly two gifts, depending on what he asked for. This year he wanted a train table, so that's it, but if it were a smaller gift Santa might bring a second small gift as well.

We have 3 girls and they each get 1 gift from me and daddy, 1 from their sisters, 1 from Santa (usually a large gift for them to share - playhouse, barbie house, etc - that we set up and leave unwrapped) and stockings.
They also get gifts from extended family when we go visit and for dinners.

We have ourselves in a pickle because my children are spaced out by a decade. When the oldest was a baby, all the presents were from Santa and that continued, with ease, through the early years of my second child.
Now my oldest is 11. He hasn't come out saying he doesn't believe but he is definitely aware of items being purchased since he went out with me on Black Friday. So, I am wrapping for 'Santa presents' carefully writing SANTA in a different script then my normal writing and using a different paper for gifts from mom and dad. Somehow, Santa has to be preserved, otherwise our third child (15 months) will never know about him, if I am not careful.

Santa brings maybe 2 gifts and fills the stocking... he leaves them unwrapped on Christmas Eve so they are there when the kids run to see.
My husband's family had Santa's gifts wrapped, but that never made since to me. IF I were to do that, they would most definitely have to be different wrapping paper.
The rest of the gifts are from us, I feel it's important that not everything is from Santa, it teaches kids the importance and joy of giving, not just receiving.

When the kids were kids, Santa wrapped his gifts in tissue paper, since they went into the stockings and therefore didn't have to look very fancy on our own. But we gave them gifts from us, too - under-the-tree presents - and they were in fancy wrapping.

Santa only brings one gift per child...or one big joint gift for all the kids (like the Wii/Xbox) and Santa gifts are ALWAYS unwrapped with a big red velvet bow!
~Also, we go to bed with the stockings hung over the fireplace and all the presents under the tree...then Santa fills the stockings and magically sets all the kids presents in separate piles along with their stockings all laid out and their Santa gift in front!
Just like when I was a kid :)

Santa brings one or two big gifts on the 25th, and they get one bigger gift and some small ones on the 21st (solstice) and one or to smaller ones each day of Yule until the 25th, when they open any remaining smaller gifts and the ones from Santa.
