Just wondering if you could have titled this post better.
Has anyone have intestine problems, if so how did you feel? also is it true some blood work, may get wrong results. if you are on medication?
Just wondering if you could have titled this post better.
What is your diet like? My neighbors daughter was sick for 4 years with tummy issues. Found out, that she is allergic to gluten. She feels like a million dollars now that she took Gluten out of her deit. She was tested by a doctor or two before the final one and they all said no. Gluten is not your issue, but the last doc did a different type of test (which was not covered under the insurance) but it was worth every penny. Yes, some tests do not always show the right answers unless administered in the right way.
With out more info, it is hard to say more for you. What are your thinking, Galbladder? Irritable bowel syndrome?
Do you mean colitis or diverticulitis? More info please...
E.:
You thought you were pregnant. The blood test came back negative. It is RARE that the hospital blood tests are wrong on pregnancy. I don't think a blood test for pregnancy has been wrong. The HgH is there or it's not.
I don't really understand your question - you still aren't feeling "right" or well?
What kind of intestinal problems are you having?
What kind of medication are you on?
What is it, exactly that you want here?
I too am wondering if this is on the heels of your last question. It sounds like you are trying to diagnose your own problems by suggesting that all the test results are wrong. First it was pregnancy, now it's intestinal.
There are all kinds of intestinal issues - some are detectable by blood work, some are not. Symptoms can be everything from severe pain to bloating to gas to sluggishness, among others. Some are improved with dietary changes, most effectively by adding the proper elements to help you have a healthy colon and good health overall. It's estimated that the majority of illness are caused by some combination of digestive issues or inflammation, or both. "Intestine problems" is a very broad term so it's very hard to know what you are experiencing.
Some people try to treat intestinal issues by eliminating foods from their diets, but that's often not necessary and frequently very frustrating. It's easier, in most cases, to add the proper nutrients to enable a person to eat pretty much anything. I work with people in this area so I am familiar with issues like colitis (ulcerative and not), diverticulitis, irritable bowel syndrome, gluten and dairy intolerances, acid reflux, Crohn's, and many others.
Medication can treat some of these problems (but mostly treats the symptoms, doesn't cure the problem), and medication can also make conditions worse or even cause them. People who take a lot of pills for anything (antibiotics, vitamin pills, pain pills, you name it) often have intestinal issues because the meds are not dissolved and absorbed, and often lodge in the digestive tract. So choking down handfuls of pills to either give yourself vitamins/minerals or to address an intestinal issue almost always backfires.
So it's hard to know, as others have said, what you are really asking. There are some educational seminars coming up in the central Massachusetts area (if you truly live in Ware MA - some people don't update their city info) so if you want to attend a program to learn more and work with people who have intestinal issues, I can give you more info.
But if you really just want us to tell you that your test results are wrong, I don't think we have anywhere near enough info to do that.
