Just Relocated to Wake Forest/N. Raleigh, NC and Looking for a Preschool

We just moved to the Wake Forest/N. Raleigh area in NC. I have a 4-year old son that would have started preschool this month where we previously lived. I am hoping to enroll him in a program here, but was hoping to talk to other moms for referrals first. I've done some research, but wondered if anyone had any preschools they loved. Thank you!

Richland Creek Community Church is starting preschool on September 3rd. It is a MWF program from 9-12 & cost $195 a month. My 2 year old & 3&1/2 year old will both be attending. It is in Wake Forest on Burlington Mills not far from Capital. The website is http://www.richlandcreek.com/

Hi C.,
My daughter went to Hope Lutheran. They moved since we went and are now located in Heritage Wake Forest. We had a great experience and my daughter loved her teacher, Miss Jennifer. Their new building is beautiful and in a good location. My daughter is entering middle school next week (wow) but still has friends that she went to pre-school with! They talk about the old days with fondness. Good luck! L. B

Hi C. -

Welcome to the area! I moved to Wake Forest in January and really like it. Depending on where you live exactly, I would highly recemmond Hope Lutheran Preschool on Rogers Road in Wake Forest. My son had a wonderful experience in the afternoon 4 year old program last year. My three year old daughter will be attending a T/TH am program beginning in September. I did a lot of research too before we moved and found Hope Lutheran to fit my specific criteria. The staff is great. If you would like to talk more about it or have any questions, please contact me.

Have a good day.

We go to St. Marks on Six Forks and absolutely love it. They have a transitional Kind. class, spanish, music, and science/disc. The teachers are amazing and the Director is really on top of things. They also have a carpool line (the teacher will come get your child out of the car so you don't have to) and a great outdoor play area that wears my child out.

Hi,

My daughter currently attends the Montessori Children's House of Wake Forest (www.mchwf.com) and we absolutely love it! I cannot say enough good things about it! The class size is relatively small so I don't know if she would have spots available at this late date but it might be worth a try in case someone dropped out, etc.

Good Luck!
Holly

Welcome to the area! Two of my three girls went to Millbrook United Methodist Preschool (MUMPS). My third daughter will be able to go there next year. Absolutely love the program! I am an educator myself and love what they offer. The teachers are outstanding! Vivian is the director and the number is ###-###-#### to see if they have any openings still. Good luck!
