I have done these sales since 05 and they are worth it. However, it does take a lot of prep. I usually have around three hundred items total. I sort the clothes by sex and size first. They I write all the brand, descrip and size down. After I have my list I get on the website and create all the tags. I mark my hangers with a different color for each size (this comes in handy when you have to put them on the sales floor.) Toys seem to sell very well. If I have a question about pricing for large items I usually go to my local resale shop. Hope this helps!

N., I am the owner of the JBF Sale in Fort Worth. We'd love to have you join us if you can - our sale is coming up 2/22-3/2, so it is only about 6 weeks away. If you want to get rid of some things and have some time to prepare them for selling, it is definitely worth it because you honestly can make more money with us than you can at a garage sale or at one of the local resale stores. If you want to know more about us, join us at one of our JBF101 "How To" Clinics. We have 3 of these schedule over the next month - all in different parts of town, so hopefully one will be fairly close to where you live. The Clinics really help people get a better understanding of how JBF works, but really you can get everything you need to know on our website at www.jbfsale.com/fortworth. Hope you can join us - it's a great way to reclaim some of your home and crowded closets and make some good money - our biggest seller in the Fall took home a check for over $2,500!!! Email me at ____@____.com if I can help you out in any way.

N.,
We have been a part of JBF since 2003. It does take a little bit of prep, but is really worth your time!! Now that you can prepare your tags online it is much faster and if you volunteer you (or if you have a helpful husband like mine he could volunteer too, we share our hours now so we can volunteer more and get in earlier to shop) can get a higher percentage of sales. The website really explains everything and attending one of the clinics would help alot. I would be happy to help you with any ?'s.

Hi N.,
It's a lot of prep work but worth it if you make the effort. I like the advice of attending a workshop because it can be overwhelming the first time out. That said everyone I know that has done it has earned more money than they would just selling on ebay, craigslist or at a local resale shop.
Good luck!
