Does anyone know about Juice Plus? My kids take the Juice Plus chewables. It is recommended that they take two of the red ones and 2 of the green ones. The problem is they do not like the green ones and so only take the red ones. Is there any point in taking the red ones if they are not doing the green ones as well? Thanks to all of you mamas out there!

What can I do next?

Get the chewy kind and squish them together (the two colors) and eat it as one. They taste a lot better that way.
The red ones are fruits and the green are veggies so taking just the red would be OK, but they should also be eating fruits and veggies.

My daughter uses Juice Plus, in fact she sold it to others at one time. I will ask her and see if I can get an answer from her.My personal opinion is that SOME vitamins are better than NONE...so I would let them take at least the ones they like...and see if you can't find a way to make the others more palatable to them...giving them something else to chase them with or something!!
I just heard back from my daughter...here is her response:
anything is better than nothing. I would recommend that they open one of their green capsules and put it into their juice, yogurt, freeze pops, etc and get it in them that way

We did juice plus for a while. No complaints about it, but my son had been through enough & decided he didn't want the juiceplus so I gave up on it. Anyways, I had several bags of the gummy ones and decided to take them so they didn't go to waste. The green ones are the veggies (which I am sure you know) and they do not taste as good. 2 things: 1) When I ate them I ate the green first...maybe you can tell the kids they can't have the red until they eat the green..?? Of course they may not care :) 2) If you can find a way to get them to eat the green they do taste better over time. My theory is (and yes, it is just my theory), that as your body gets used to having the veggie ones it wants them and they don't taste as bad. I am a horrible eater & it took me forever to learn to eat salads and after years of choking them down, I now actually crave them.

I agree that anything is better than nothing. My daughter only liked the green ones, go figure! :)

Can you get the gummies?

Dear J.,

I am a Juice Plus+ representative. Truely it is best if your children takes both. The research is based on using both the fruits and the veggies not to mention the added nutrition they will receive from the dark leafy greens and grains. However, I have customers whose children feel the same way. Half is better than none and it will still help fill the gaps between what we should eat and what we actually eat every day.

A few thougths ....
J., you can take the greens or speak to your representative about receiving just the "red" ones. This is a special order. If you don't have a representative it would be my pleasure to help you rectify this.

For better health,
C.

PS .... FYI, Jave are you personally adding JP+ to your diet? When an adult is adding JP+ to their diet they can get it free for a child between the ages of 4 - college.

I felt guilty for not buying them when someone raved about them. Now her daugher is in my child's class and her child has missed a week of school three different times due to illness. My child hasn't been sick once.
I can't get mine to eat the green ones either.
