HI,

My daughter goes to Jowell Elem, and she wants to visit friends and I dont know what to do. I need help do I ask the teacher or school..., HELP!!!

Oh well the school is great, But School code stop me from sending my daughter to school with letters to pass out i.e, invitation and things like that. Also the children in our very new and small neighberhood has mostly spanish speaking children those of whom are in pre-k are not in the same class since they dont speak the language, are being taught.

What can I do next?

wow Yes 4 is really young, make some play dates where you meet the parents. Girls start younger than boys wait till 4 th grade when they want to hang on the phone and try to make their own play dates.

Write your DD and your name along with your number and address (if you want) on an index card for each of her friends and tell her to either give them to her friends or call the teacher and ask her to put them in their backpack for them. If you pick her talk to the other parents. Or maybe there will be an open house at the school and then you can meet the other parents then.
Good Luck and Welcome to the school age years

are you talking about at home? If so, what I do is write a note for the friend's parent and have my little girl give it to her friend.

to be honest i do not know anything about Jowell Elem. is it some kind of nightmare? I am only asking because you seem very concerned about the children there? or is it the fear of not knowing the parents of the other children??

Well either way I would suggest to your daughter that she had a "party" and invite her friends over..... you can also tell them that they can have there parents come so you can get to know them. have like a cook out. this is perfect weather. Or invite them to a local park and have it there.
