Hi Moms. I'm in the market for a jog stroller (as a gift for father's day). Any recommendations? Swivel, no swivel, 2 seater, 1 seater...thank you!

What can I do next?

We have both the single and double Baby Trends stroller. Both my husband and myself love them. We only wish that we spent the extra money and got the one where the front wheel turns. The kids prefer this stroller to any of the other strollers we have. I think they are more comfortable since they sit up a little higher and the back support is more supportive.

Check out the BOB Revolution stroller, which comes with 12" or 16" wheels. What I like about it is that it's easy to push with one hand, folds up pretty small given its size, has a front wheel that can lock or swivel easily, has a huge canopy. It's really solid and built to last. The only negative is that my 11 month old might not be the most comfortable in it. It's made to accommodate kids up to 70 lbs. and I think until her thigh bone gets longer, she'll continue to be a little slumped in the seat. Read the reviews of the BOB on Amazon and Babiesrus.com.

I'm another mom with a Baby Trend jogging stroller - I do have a moving front wheel, and I love it (there's actually a clip in the wheel that lets you choose if you want it to pivot or be stationary). I think if you are jogging you want the option to make the front wheel stationary for safety. Although I will admit we have never actually jogged with it (maybe my husband has but I don't), we use it outside, and it's great on all terrain (and I mean all terrain - snow, mud, gravel, hiking trails...). And my daughter always falls asleep in it (and never in her other strollers, which are Pegs and Maclarens, go figure). So even though it is usually a bumpy ride, it must be pretty comfortable. We don't have the double yet but will probably get it when my son is old enough to be in it. I'm guessing it's the same idea, just bigger. Keep in mind how tall your husband is and make sure that the handle comes up enough to be comfortable when he is jogging - the one we have seems very high but if we were actually jogging - lol- it would be in the right position.
