B.K.
When I post for advise here before I ring or speak to my friends.
When I worry for someone when I notice they haven't been around for a while.
I feel like I really know some of the women/men here even though we will never meet.

The first thing that comes out of your mouth in an argument is " But (insert a MMP members name) said..." and the other person knows what site they are from because they hear so much about it.
You know about kids of all ages just so you are somewhat prepared.
You have friends and enemy's you have never and probably will never meet.
Sorry guys we missed an important one!

you think
WWJD
and it stands for What would Jo do?
lol I kid, I kid=)
I had nothing to say and thought I'd be clever. sad thing is my cleverness factor targets 5-10 year olds=) lucky for M. that it J. so happens you lose a good portion of your iq with each kid, so hopefully tired moms of many may one day find M. amusing=) 8kidsdad has to by now, although ,i'm not sure if you lose brain cells if your a dad or if it happens when you physically birth someone.
i was awesome at spelling and grammar before i had a kid...heck if i have another i might end up on the short bus--gosh i cant stop with the political incorrectness on this thread....are you preganant?
...after email and Facebook, it's the first site you go to every morning.
...when you find yourself looking forward to the outrageous trolls that seem to visit every weekend.
...your mood is immediately improved when you see all those flowers you got.
...when you find yourself thinking about members' issues at random times during the day even when you're not actually ON Mamapedia at that moment.
You have a dilemma and first thing you think is to post on here!
when you walk past the computer & check the new questions
when you are bored & choose to check those new questions
when you are really bored & need a life & actually check the questions from the previous night
Hi, my name is S., & I'm a Mamapedia Mom. Thank goodness for naptime at my daycare!
When you use in conversation with your husband "well the moms on mamapedia all say..."
He actually jokes about it- whenever a problem comes up he'll go "Dear Mamasource...." in a really fake high pitched lady voice (he hasn't gotten the memo its called mamapedia now), like trying to make fun of me running to ask what people on here would do.
When you say "my Mommy site says.." everytime you have a funny story to tell your husband :)
When you pause before posting something excrutiatingly embarassing... because all y'all (and your good opinions) have become as 'real' as those I see face to face.
I haven't posted anything I wouldn't say out loud in maybe 6 years.
Good thing I don't have a very good filter in real life, either!
You know you're a mamapedia mom when you start a house renovation project and are on day five...((your husband TOLD you it would take 7x longer than you thought...and reminded you to stay focused and finish the floor before you start doing some ADHD refinishing furniture adventure - but you didn't listen))...and you're looking forward to finishing tonight so that you can have a wild Friday night spent on mamapedia.
Hypothetically speaking. Of course.
Ditto Riley.
