No one is that important.
I've decided to be on Twitter because I'm tired of not knowing what the @ and the # mean on everything I see. I want to stay somewhat in the loop of pop culture so I don't sound so old and out of touch! hahahaha
But once I finally got on, I had no idea who to follow. I've got Lady Gaga who was recently pressured to purchase a $20k purse and some political folks, but other than that.... who is good to follow??
No one is that important.
Nobody. I think for the most part it's ridiculous. (Although my daughters were both encouraged to open accounts to use for school, especially during election time)
I don't know what Hashtag (#) means. Couldn't care less
I follow no one on twitter. No account. No need.
L.
I follow celebrities I like. Nathan Fillion, Neil Patrick Harris, Clark Gregg, Wil Wheaton, Felicia Day, Joel McHale.
My step daughter's school posts announcements about after school activities, I also follow local news and some of my favorite comedians. I am new to it and so is my husband who follows several different sports personalities.
friends, actors i respect, my favorite comedians, and all news outlets, from fox to al jazeera and everything in between
Good Gosh....nobody, I don't have time for that....LOL. The @ is where the person can be found. The # symbol, called a hashtag, is used to mark keywords or topics in a Tweet. It was created organically by Twitter users as a way to categorize messages. The kids love it and usually follow their favorite actors/activists, singers, etc. All depends on who you are into. Do you have favorite actors, comedians, reality TV stars. Beware though, before you know it you may be following 560 people like my son does...lol.
