I never baby proofed, I disciplined ;)
I used to keep my cleaning supplies (ie toilet cleaner, windex, clorox, etc) on a high shelf b/c I hate dealing with those kid safety locks. Being 5'2 it gets old getting a stool to get my cleaning stuff. So today I decided that since my son is 6 I can put my cleaning products back under the bathroom sink. I'm loving that I can get to them easier!! I would be shocked if he decided to eat them, he is far beyond that stage.
So JFF when did you decide that you didn't need to be so baby proofed?
lol loved to hear your comments. I'm sure I could've taken my cleaners down long ago.. just never thought of it. And no judgement to those who didn't baby proof. Mine wasn't ever over proofed by any means. :-)

Well, I shouldn't answer this, as someone is bound to call the "bad mommy police" on me......
I never did baby proof anything in our house.
When HE told me "that's POISON mom, we better find a GROWN-UP and tell them!" WTH kid! I must just be his playmate or something...
I never baby proofed but I did put up my cleaners and such. Generally when you can ask the child, hey, you planning on drinking the toilet cleaner and they answer are you nuts that is poison you are pretty safe. For me this was confidently met at four years old.
Well when my oldest was around 4 but 2 years after that i had to re-do everything with baby#2, now that im pregnant again im glad i still have most of my stuff still proofed because baby#2 is still 2 years old.
Yes, I would say when she started Kindergarten.
