80 summer days and nights (we aren't home that much), 76 when waking up and evenings. It is all programmed so I don't have to think about it.

Depends upon the weather and humidity...

during the summer? If I'm home and not out running around or at the pool? 78. If I'm home? It's hot and humid - 75.

Winter? 68. 74 would be wwwwwaaayyyy too freaking hot.

I live in AK so we don't have AC because our house never gets over 75 in the summer. In the winter I keep the heat set at 65 during the day and 54 at night.

I live in the Pacific Northwest. On my side of the mountains almost no one has air conditioning in their homes. The other side probably does more than here...they hit 90's regularly in the summer.
We don't.

No central air here so 72 for the window units in the summer, which might get the house down to 82. Anything below that and we keep the AC off. For us, the goal is to keep the house a few degrees below 85 in a heat wave because 85 and over is when it just gets too hot to move.

Heat is set to 68 in the winter when we're home, 63 at night or when we're out.

I'm in south Louisiana and 80 is my preference. If it weren't for the humidity here, I wouldn't run the AC at all - just fans.

I keep my A/C on 82 for most of the day since I am not home, and have it programmed to kick in at 7 pm, when I arrive. At that point, it it set for 76. After 10 pm, it goes to 75 so I can be a little cooler when I sleep.

I have never used the heat to be honest. There was one winter it was a bit chilly for Miami standards so I used long pants and a turtleneck to sleep, along with 2 blankets, and my daughter had fleece pajamas, but other than that, we have never really been "cold" at home.

I cannot wait until it cools down and I can shut off my A/C and just have the living room window open to allow the breeze in, but it's already October and it's still in the 80s. Maybe it will be another month.
