Jff-what Is Your Favorite(s) Part of the Day

A few of mine:

When my husband comes into the bathroom in the morning carrying our 16mo daugther who has just woken up, her hair is tousled, she's got her cute summer jammies on and sleep in her eyes-she sees me and smiles her big toothy smile

Cuddling with my 3 yr son at bedtime and he whispers...Mommy-come put your ear by me-I have a secret-...and he says...I love you....then he snuggles next to me and says. I'm laying by YOU.

What can I do next?

Super cute!

Mine is dinnertime with my husband and son and early morning, when I'm up, husband is at work and son is still asleep.
Then I hear footsteps and "mo-om....?" Then it's off to the races!

I have 2.
One is when my kids wake up in the morning they are so happy to see me. We actually miss each other over night. Thier little faces light up and big ole smiles...mommy we missed you!
2nd is dusk. When the sun just starts to go down and everything has a rosy glow, that is energizing for me. I can be so sleepy in the afternoon, but as soon as the skystarts to change colors I'm recharged and ready to go! That's when all the neighbors come out of the house and it begins to cool down. The kids are playing in the driveway with side walk chalk and you can smell the grill in the backyard or me and my husband sitting on a patio of our favorite Tex Mex joint eating chips and sauce and drinking a margarita.

The hour right before I go to bed for the night.....I dont know why...I is just the most relaxing point of my day..given the kids are not getting up every fifteen seconds for a drink or to go to the bathroom....

Omg! I loved yours! I can't wait for my son to say those things to me!

My favorite part of the day is bath time right before bed. He just has so much fun splashing around and laughing. I enjoy it so much, no matter how tired I am. :)

My favorite is when I pick up my 3 y/o at daycare after work and he comes running, huge smile on his face, and leaps into my arms and wraps his entire self around me and hugs me with all that he has!!
Then we go pick up my 7 y/o from school and he comes running and wraps himself around my waist and says "I missed you today, Mom" and leans up for a kiss on the top of his head ~ even in front of his friends he does this! My two favorite moments of the day :)
And my third is when hubby pulls up to the house and both boys go running and he swoops them both up then smiles at me ~ makes my heart go pitter patter!

Those are my favorite moments as well. I love all the sweet kisses and the times that son will run up to me excitedly to give me a hug. But on a personal note, just for me, my favorite time of day is 8pm when the kids are in bed asleep. After a long day of working and caring for them, I look forward to those quiet times just for me and to spend with my husband. :)

Mine used to always be right when my husband and I would settle into our bed at night and we would ask eachother, "you know what the best time of day is?" and the other always responded "bedtime", now even though its crazy early its always first thing in the morning when my 18 month old pitter patters down the hall from her bed to our room and stands beside me at the side of the bed and says "Mama, Uppies"
OMG I could just eat her up

My favorites are dinnertime with my hubby and two kids during the week, bedtime each night with the kids (we read together and they go to bed at the same time), then it's the time I have either with my hubby watching TV or alone watching my own shows!! I'd have to say pretty much anytime I'm at home and not at work - even though I do like my job!!

I just told my son yesterday morning, that my favorite thing, hands down, is our snuggle time in the mornings when I'm not working and we get to sleep in a little. He will snuggle up right next to me, wrap himself around me, actually, and we'll lay there and snuggle, watch tv, talk, whatever. He is soooo sweet and loving and cuddly in the mornings... I just love that time we share together. I relish it.

When my 8 month old daughter wakes up in the morning. My 3 year old son and I go into her bedroom, I let him go in first and he turns on her light pulls himself up to her crib and says "aww hello there pretty girl" and she gets the biggest smile and shrieks at him! Sometimes he will ask her "did you sleep good?" SO precious!!

Two things I love. Waking up with my sweet children and putting my sweet children to bed so I can have some "me" time. By the end of the day I am tired!

Watching my 2 kids ( 4 & 8 years old), playing together, without fighting and problem solving on their own and really just caring about each other and sharing reciprocally. And 'seeing' them do, what I had hoped I taught them! When they are like that, they don't call "MOMMY!" every 3 seconds either. LOL

My son is like yours.... he'll tell me he has a 'secret' and then tells me to put my ear next to his mouth and he tells me he loves me.
Last night I was playing with him, and he looked up at me all dreamy eyed and told me "Mommy, I'm glad I have you. You're the best..." I almost cried.

The first part is when my alarm goes off and I cuddle up to hubby. The second part is when I go get my LO out of the crib and get a huge smile and the third is when the older kids come climb in bed with us and watch cartoons.

I'm an early riser. The rest of the family, not so much. I get a little quiet time in the mornings before the hectic day begins. Just me, the paper, coffee, our big dog Russell at my feet, and some awesome mammas on the computer.

Mornings, when I wake up and I don't have to get up at a specific time, and I can stretch and enjoy the quiet. Or, mornings, when my daughter is with me and she wakes up (she sleeps above me in the top bunk) and she is the most cheerful morning person I know. She'll say "Momma! Morning!" first thing, and she's 9 but still seems like my little girl at that moment even though she's getting almost as big as me and sometimes she'll still cuddle with me in bed for a few minutes before we start the day.

In the early evening, when it's starting to cool off now that it's summer, and I'm taking my ex's German Shepherd for a 3 mile cross-country run in the beautiful wooded hilly park behind his house.

Then, later at night, my daughter is sleeping in the bedroom, I'm in the livingroom with the door open to get a cool breeze coming in through the screen door and it's quiet. I can stay up too late sometimes just because this is soooo relaxing. I'm doing school work, or reading, or wasting time on this site(!) and maybe having a cup of tea or a beer. Love that time of night!

Ah, I have a great life!!

When my husband gets home from work and we all have fun together playing games or talking/joking.
I especially like when he gets home on Fridays because we can stay up late and have all day Saturday to do whatever we want. :)
