My husband called to let me know he is on his way from work and it was not a good day and he needs a drink!
Well I want to try to surprise him! We are not drinkers so this will be my first go at it! Does anyone have any quick ideas? I could possibly run to the store very quickly but we have lot of stuff here already we never use or use every once in a while, we have lots of wine but I have the feeling he needs something strong, he says he's going in late tomorrow!
Here's some stuff we have at home already:
Tequella Rose (some tyrpe of chocolate strawberry stuff it says)
Parrot Bay cocconut rum
Couple of bottles of German Likor (mang, cherry, cappichino, etc.)
pina colada mix
Red Cali wine
German wine
variety pack of tequela
Some tequela we got in mexico
Can we make something happen from this? lol

The Tequilla Rose, I have to admit, I have only had it on camping trips drinking straight out of the bottle being passed around the campfire.
BTW, you may consider this an expert opinion on alcohol - I'm a recovering alcoholic. ;)
When I'm in a hurry to get unstressed I just drink it by the shot. Today was cherry infused Skyy vodka... took 3 shots, and I'm now stress free :)
Piña Coladas are made with rum... And you've got that.
If you have orange liquer (in your German likor?), and lime juice, you can make margaritas. 3:2:1 ratio tequila, lime: orange. If not, you can make mangoritas with the mango likor. Same 3:2:1 ratio. I like my margaritas on the rocks, but like piña coladas you can put in blender with ice. Salt rim for both
Iced coffee with coconut rum is also yummy
Tequila lines and salt is an old standby
So are rum and cokes!

My husband and I don't drink either and don't have anything usually in the house. However, hubs had a day like this not too long ago and I told him to stop and buy Amaretto DiSarrona (sp?). OMG. Its good. Just pour over ice. And on a "bad" day, it will make you feel better! =)
The piña colada with de parrot rum I the blender with lots of ice should be good.
I do this margaritas and are always a huge success.... Bacardi margarita mix ( the one on the frozen section) one cup of Bacardi anejo ( I guess you can use your tequila ) one cup of sprite or seven up, lots of ice in the blender and a little, just little bit of granadine... Everybody loves them!
Scotch is very manly! ;)
