We're watching Modern Family and 2 episodes of Big Bang Theory, which we've been looking forward to all week. :-)
My hubby and I had plans to go out until the babysitter texted me and canceled. So, what are your weekend plans? Go ahead, make me envious, I can take it as I'm sitting home watching "Say Yes To The Dress" and wondering where everyone else plans on eating, shopping, playing etc.... Tell me all about what you plan on ordering at the most perfect restaurant, are you casual, are you dressed up? Yes, I want details so I can live vicariously through you tonight:)

I am going to a beautiful restaurant overlooking the sea and the city lights. I will be wearing a slimming black dress and strappy high heels. I will be ordering the hand made scallop tortellini for entree, steak for main, and chocolate brûlée for dessert.
Then I will be heading to a nearby 40s-style nightclub featuring a big band, table service and real dancing. I'm going to drink martinis and an assortment of other fancy cocktails and champagne.
We have hired a car and driver for the night so we can just tumble in at the end of the night. Sounds good doesn't it. Actually, that chocolate brûlée is to die for. I must find a recipe for it...
Sending out job resumes. I have been jobless since July :(
I just finished packing up my daughter and I for our trip to Vegas that we are leaving on tomorrow. Tonight we are having Pork Chops for dinner and maybe a movie at home. My parents are also going to Vegas to watch our daughter, so in Vegas we already have a dinner and show night on Tuesday and a dinner and football game watching night on Monday. It's like the best of both worlds for me. I get to spend time with my daughter and parents during the day while my husband is at his conference, and get to have much needed adult fun time with my husband at night. The only thing I'm going to be missing is wine at dinner and beer during the game. I'll be dressed up in Vegas, but tonight, I'm wearing capris, a t-shirt, and my hair and makeup aren't done.
Waxing my Mother in Laws hard wood floors Saturday.
Sunday my FIL and his girlfriend want to steal my kids for the evening...which I am not gonna fight..I could use a night off;p
I am actually stoked about waxing...It is my favorite house chore..So I offered to do it...As a means to relax....And I owe her my free time...she is our saving grace:)
I took my daughter and one of her friends to see "The Lion King" in 3D while my husband worked tonight. We are taking him to brunch at the ultimate
Sunday spot for his birthday Sunday.
We are moving this weekend so I plan to take my last soak in a pretty nice tub, we are losing that :/ but gaining sooo much more!
Nothing exciting here! Hubby will be home early (usually works till about 10 pm) so having him home before kids go to bed is a treat! And we'll probably have a glass of wine and catch up on some tv :) However, next Friday night we have a wedding to go to which we are REALLY looking forward to! Very formal and our kids are staying over night at my parents ;)
BTW Sara B..... Modern Family... best show ever!!!
Ahhh, that sucks! I hate to be disapointed. If I were you, I'd take the kids to a drop in child care or find another sitter! But, if you can't, just make the best of it. Maybe you could load everybody up and go to the drive in movies.
As for my weekend
Husband and I both working this morning. When I get off at 1, I think I will bring the kids to a Fall Carnival I passed on the way to work. Now that it's cooled down some, I'm just trying to find ways to get us outside to enjoy it! Redbox tonight. We'd love to go out to dinner, but not in the budget. Church in the morning, laundry and football all day Sundays. I'm not complainging. I love our routine life.
I would've taken the babysitter canceling anyday! My weekend consisted of spending my anniversary night on a fold out chair/bed in a hospital room w/my 13 yr old daughter who had just had a spinal tap done b/c they thought she had spinal menangitis. Definitely not a fun night and the bonus part of the week is that Thurs she gets to go in for knee surgery #4 followed up by my husbands cancer procedure next Wednesday - can I run now! Or maybe ur babysitter will be available for u & i to go out for some drinks!!!!
