Pilates and yoga are good for tightening abs. I did bellydancing as well, if you want something more fun. Pilates is easy, and it really does the trick! Good Luck!
i want to lose a few pounds ( escpecially in the tummy area )...i am looking into the jazzercise ...how good is that ...can i get any other suggestions ?

Call Steppin' To Health ###-###-####, go try their Power Plate or Vacu-Step, I did the Power Plate, it's 10 minutes 2-3 times a week and I lost 9 inches in my first 4 weeks and lost 42 pounds in less then 3 months. Jazzercise is great. It gives you a high intensity workout that really burns calories. I have done jazzercise in the past. The trick is that if you really want to loose the weight, you not only have to be active and work out at least 3 times per week you also have to watch what you eat. No exercise program is fool proof. I thought jazzercise was a lot of fun, kinda like a dance class. However, I was only able to maintain my weight while doing it, I never lost anything, I have heard the same from others.
I havent tried jassercise, but do enjoy the body blast type classes. The gym im in has targeted ab classes also. Really, whatever you enjoy and will stick with will help.
