If I would live closer to them, I would weigh 300 pounds.
They are great, best coffee cakes, my friend had her wedding cake from them, she loved it.
Looking for a bakery close to home that makes delicious and creative cakes. My daughter will be turning 2 soon and Jarosch's Bakery seems to have decent reviews. Have any of you mom's used them before? Is it a good bakery for cakes? I'm a fan of Deerfield Bakery but hoping to find something closer to home. We live in the south part of Arlington Heights. Any other recommendations? Thanks Ladies!

Had my wedding cake from there- its A.M.A.Z.I.N.G, unlike the other post- I do live close and have to make sure I only get sweets from there on holidays!!!
Happy birthday to your daughter :)
yes, we use them for every birthday for my girls (ages 4, 3, and 1). they have done photos on the cake for us as well as themed (zhu zhu pet). They did my husband's 30th bday cake this past fall. Not only are they beautiful, they taste great, too! We've had the strawberry filling, the fudge/chocolate filling, banana and even one without a filling. DELICIOUS!
happy birthday to your daughter!
excdellent - can't go wrong
Jarosch is GREAT! I had my first son's 1st Birthday cake done there. I took in a picture of what I wanted, they elaborated, and it was FANTASTIC! The smash cake and regular cake came to about $70 total, a bit pricey, but I thought well worth it for the artistry and time devoted to the order. It was also ready when they said it would be (on a super busy Saturday morning of all times!). I can't recommend them enough! Good luck with the bakery search!
Oh, yeah, best cakes ever! Very busy and popular bakery - yumm! I cannot say enough good things about this bakery. People drive from all over to purchase baked goods from Jarosch.
I have not used them but also hear great things about them. I have used Deerfield but their prices have gotten kind of steep. Have you looked at Oak Mill Bakery. They have several locations (one on Rand in Mt. Prospect?) and have delicious European style cakes and pastries. Many times I have ordered the Champagne cake minus the alcohol. It is a favorite at our family parties. Happy B-day to you daughter!
They are top notch when it comes to anything sweet! I love that place! I used to work close to there so early morning sweet roll runs were the name of the game!
Hi L.,
Kidwinks.com has several reviews on Jarosch. I can't believe it, but my girlfriend has not posted her review. She's a total cake snob, and LOVES Jarosch. Here's the link to Jarosch's reviews on kidwinks:

Kidwinks is a great place to find things to do with your kids. There's an Events Calendar, a Kids Eat Free Calendar (click on a day to find where kids eat free that day), and many online specialty guides so you can find just what you're looking for (Indoor Play Places, Summer Camps, Seasonal Fun, Birthday Party Places, etc.). And moms write reviews of these places, so it's a great way to learn from other moms. Check it out!
