I can put my fingers inside my woo woo and feel the babies head only about an inch and half inside. Is this normal? Does this mean actual labor is near? I havent had any serious pain yet but just thought I would ask because I didnt feel any pain except for time to push with my son. I've been having BH or either contractions for a couple days now and I have noticed that she has dropped. Just looking for some advice. Thanks Ladies!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I gave birth to a healthy baby girl yesterday morning. :) She was 6lbs 13oz. Actual labor was about 5 hours. Everything went rather nicely.
My water ended up breaking on its own at home, after a full day of some pretty good contractions. I never knew when would be a good time to go to the hospital because of not feeling much with my son but since my water broke we came on in anyway. But all is good and we are done with labor now yeah!!!

If the baby's head is that low I would call my doctor's office tonight and have a nurse call you back. That is REALLY low! I would imagine the contractions are real because that is mainly what moves the baby down in the pelvis. You don't want to have that baby at home or in the car. Good luck and congrats on your baby girl!

Ask your doctor! This close to your due date, anything is possible, and your OB/GYN is the only qualified one to diagnose you . . .

Drink lots of water and lie down on your left side for about an hour. If the contractions stop, they are BH. If not, they are prob the real thing. Call your dr either way.
