Itchy While Wearing Bathing Suit During Pregnancy

This is a strange question, but it has happened during all of my pregnancies. It is now bathing suit weather, and I find that the the top to my bathing suit makes me very itchy. I itch even before I've gone into the pool, so it's not the pool chemicals that are causing this. I believe the problem could be the combination of the bathing suit fabric, perspiration and just that fact that perhaps my skin is more sensitive during pregnancy. No redness or rash appears, but the itching becomes unbearable after a short time. I have to end up changing out of the bathing suit top. Have any of you experienced this and do have any suggestions as to how to relieve it. Thanks for any suggestions.

What can I do next?

My co-worker is allergic to rubber only when she is pregnant! She can't wear flip flops or it makes her feet red and itchy and leaves a rash. Maybe it's something with the elastic in the waistband?

It's only during times you are wearing the swimsuit? You're not itchy otherwise? Have you tried lathering lotion on before wearing them? Otherwise I'm not sure! How frustarting. I get itchy arms sometimes during pregnancy. Drives me crazy!
