Please don't scare yourself until you know you need to worry.(When you hear hoofbeats, think horse, not zebra.) Summer heat and humidity, itchy red rash----could be zebra(IBC), or it could just be a horse(yeast). Or even heat rash. Try a tiny bit of cortisone cream twice a day.You could put a tiny bit of yeast medicine (generic chlortrimazole, available everywhere in foot care) on top of the cortisone twice a day. It should look better almost immediately. If it doesn't, by all means, go to the Dr.

Hopefully, it's just a dermatitis or simple irritation but you are so smart to get it checked out right away. Stay OFF of the internet! It'll make ya crazy.

Get some antifungal cream and put it on the rash. Chances are it will clear up pretty fast. In the warm weather, this is very common. To prevent it, be sure to wash your bras frequently, make sure your breasts are dry after you shower, and consider putting powder on them before getting dressed.

It's most likely nothing serious.

I hate to say it, but my first thought was IBC as well.
Did you make an appointment with your OB/GYN or Primary Care Provider? If it wasn't OB/GYN, I would make sure to see them.

In my case (I am a cancer survivor - Hodgkins Lymphoma), my OB/GYN missed the nodule on my collarbone as "not concerning". My Primary Care provider was not comfortable with where it was located despite having no symptoms.

So, I don't want to alarm you, but I do want to make sure you're thoroughly evaluated sooner vs. later by as many eyes as you can to determine what's going on.

I hope it's just a case of eczema and nothing serious.
Good luck - please keep us updated with what you learn.

If a bit of cortisone cream doesn't make the itch stop then it could be yeast. I have had a lot of success with Bragg apple cider vinegar. It stops the itching almost immediately. Sometimes it burns slightly if you've been scratching it and it's irritated, but that subsides in a few seconds. It's gentler than antifungal medicine and works just as good if not better.
