Unless medically necessary, like it's causing you pain, I wouldn't even worry about it. They have to rebreak the bone, reset the bone, then you have to heal all over again. Rebreaking is SOOOOO PAINFUL.
When I was 6 I broke my arm in a WEIRD place. Because it was so swollen, I had to wear a sling for 2 days until the swelling went down so they could get clear X-rays because it was such a funky break. Because I was so young, it had already started to heal... REBREAK, OMG, I ALMOST PASSED OUT. I have forgotten the pain of childbirth, but I will NEVERRR forget that pain!
