You should call your doctor and discuss this with her; you should be able to get her to explain why she is suggesting so many repeat tests. I have two sets of twins. In the beginning of the pregnancies, I had to keep coming back for repeat blood work, as they were watching the increase in hormone level to determine whether it is twins or not. I'm sure there are many different reasons they might want to re-check the tests, so I'm not suggesting that you are carrying twins; rather I'm just pointing out that there are many reasons and so you should not worry at this point. BTW, every pregnancy is different. My first time I carried twins that got very large (over 8 pounds) and worked until 8:30 the night before delivery. The second set had me on bedrest and in the hospital for months with premature births. (all are healthy and robust at this time) but if you can't talk with your doctor, consider getting another one; this stuff is too stressful to go through without being able to have open discussion with the doc.
