I'm interested in joining especially via online. I also work from home, I have a Promotional Products Business. Many of my clients and manufacturers work with me via email, and I work a lot over the phone. I'm trying to build clientelle in the TX area since many are out of state but once my daughter turned 8 months old I had to take her to "school" makes me feel better to refer to it as school vs daycare. We are expecting our 2nd daughter June 22nd and I'll try to do the same thing, but it is EXTREMELY challenging. I give you so much credit for making it work. I felt guilty and wasn't able to give my daughter or my business 100%, so I'm doing better there but I still feel guilty about not being able to do it like I thought. I've been told my daughter is very active for a girl.
This time around I'd like some back up options if I have to meet a client and attend conference while working with my newborn at home, how did you go about finding a sitter? We haven't had many babysitters and our families are all out of state, but I'd like to find someone I feel comfortable with to come over if need be.
I'd be happy to share some of the things I do to keep her occupied, she turned 2 in March so her attention span isn't very long, which I'm sure you find with your 2 1/2 and there is probably a big difference between your 4 year old.
I'm glad to hear there are other mom's out there that can relate to this situation. Is it possible for you to find a 3 day preschool, I believe that would help tremendously for you to accomplish more work wise and then spend better quality time with them, when they are home. Hang in there! You seem to be doing great!
