It is not spefically designed for this, but the plastic Rexy toy from Toy Story has brushable teeth--my boys love to brush his teeth!

Playdoh used to make a dentist set where you made teeth out of playdoh and placed them in the mouth. You had dentist tools and everything. You could get your own toothbrush and brush those! :)

lots of luck...but I always just let my kids play with the tooth brush in the bath tub, they were more relaxed and it went easier. Also there are character tooth brushes now in almost every style, and tooth brushes that light up or play music. My son has a Veggie Tales one that plays for the length of time he is supposed to brush...he begs to use it.

Try looking at a local office supply store that has preschool curriculum books. The February, I think, book has a section for national Dental Week that has some suggestions on making some mouths out of boxes. You can use yarn for floss, a cardboard toothbrush, etc...it was a lot of fun when I did it in child care.

Are you having him do it himself, or are you doing it for him?
Which does he hate the most?

My son is 4.75, he hates brushing teeth, if/when he is tired and if/when he is busy. So at those times, I brush it for him. Otherwise, getting him to do it himself is a big long drawn out thing.

I used a small starsmilez when teaching both of my kids and it worked beautifully. It comes with a children's brush and one for the animal. It took my son a little longer to catch on but we just kept at it. Couldn’t have done it without our little alligator.

Hello,

I don't know of any toy per se, but when my daughter was two, she also hated brushing her teeth. The trick that I used was that I used to tell her (playfully, of course) that I thought I saw Grover, Big Bird or Dora, Diego, Swiper, etc. in her mouth and I had to scrub them out with her toothbrush. Then I'd "search" them out and brush them out. Sometimes it took a few tries to get some of the more stubborn ones out, but eventually, I got them all. It usually took about a minute or two to find them all. :) Anyhow, she thought it was funny and eventually started telling me who she thought was hiding out between her teeth.

I wish you the best in getting your son to have an easier time brushing.

Have a great weekend,
L.
