Is There a Really Good Heated Public Pool Out There?

Hi there. I'm wanting to know if there's a public pool anywhere in the area (North Dallas up to McKinney). But when I say heated, I don't mean pools like Oak Point or Tom Muelenbeck. That's just cold water indoors in my opinion. I'd be willing to pay a monthly or yearly membership somewhere that has a truly cozy pool. Thanks

Lifetime Fitness Club has heated pools. That is where we swim in the winter. Good Luck

Try the Allen Natatorium. It is all indoors, really nice, clean, public and heated. It has a great place for kids to play/swim as well.

Good luck,
M.

The Tom Landry Center at Baylor is has a great heated pool. Don't know if that's far enough north for you but it is a terrific place!

My family and I are go to the Frisco Athletic Center pool. They have a really nice indoor pool and a nice outdoor pool during the dummer months. It is salt water (inside and out) and is heated inside. They have a lay river, an olympic pool, a kids training pool and a kids area with a huge play structure. There are always 5-6 lifeguards on duty inside at any given time. We pay $60 a month but that is because we reside in Frisco. It is a little higher for those other residents in outer areas but worth a phone call. I hope this helps.
