I am currently looking to purchase a home and wanted to know if someone could tell me if redford township is a good area to move to. I have looked at a house right off of grand river west of beech daly. Is this a safe area? is it quite? are the people friendly?
That is close to my neighborhood!!
We are on the other side of Beech and we love it.We are close to everything.
The neighborhood is quiet. The neighbors are nice. We feel very safe here. Most people are really good about keeping up their houses.
The township is really working hard to make this a great area.
We have been here almost 5 years.
Sounds like we should be getting a Redford playgroup together with all the responses here...:-)
I live in the Schoolcraft/Inkster Rd. area. We love it, it is close to everything, but the neighborhood is quite and safe. South Redford has nice schools as well.
I live at 7 mile and Beech Daly, I like the area. It's a good place to start. My husband aand I bought our house five years ago and are now getting ready to start a family. There are alot of things to do, we are right by the park and the community cener has all kinds of activities. Redford is a nice place to start. My husband and I moved to Redford about 6 years ago. We are off GR just east of Inkster. We have not had any problems are neighbors are great. In my area I have not found many smaller children that is my only complaint. I looked for a playgroup or a mom group about 6-8 mths ago and got no response.
I am a mother of a 7mth old boy and trying for #2. Good luck on your house hunting. Redford is a great community!
