What does her Dr say? I think you are to worried about your daughters size and should be more involved with her emotions. I'm sorry if I come across as rude but just let your daughter be herself. You can't change her weight or height.

I would say just right, my neice who just turned 8 on the 1st of Nov, is 54" tall. By next birthday we are betting she will be as tall as or taller than her mother who is 5' tall.

I looked at the growth charts and your daughter comes in for both height and weight in the 50th percentile. Your daughter appears to be average. My girls are tall and sometimes very proud of it, other times get self concious. Genes have a lot to do with our height and weight as we grow. And of course there is the food we eat and such. I try to show my girls that everyone is different and to eat healthy so you don't have to worry too much. It sounds like your daughter is at the age that girls become very image conscious.

My daughter was about 4'10" at 10 years old, but was usually in the taller half of girls in her classes. At 15, her growth seems to have stopped at 5'5".
