There are diapers meant for night wear, which must hold more. These worked well for my kids. Or it may be time to move up to the next size of regular diapers.

My son wakes up soaked every morning. He is 2 and it has been that way as long as I can remember. I have tried double diapering and it didn't work for us. We just put a water proof cover on his mattress and change him and his sheets every morning. It is harder if I haven't had my coffee yet!! I usually give him a good wipe off "bath" with warm washcloth. It is a pain, but I never found any other "tricks" to work. Good luck from one soggy parent to another.

Its totally normal....heaven knows it is! They do make overnight diapers that help, some. I actually resorted to putting a regular diaper over the over night one to keep my son dry. He would wake up soaked in the middle of the night!
Anyway Huggies and Pampers make over nights and my experience has been better with the Huggies version. (even though i am a devoted pamper user).

Hi M.

My 11 month old son is in cruisers size 4 during the day and Huggies Supreme size 5 for nighttime. This always worked with my first as well. Whatever size you use everyday, just use the next size up at night. That way you won't be wasting the bigger size during the day (you get less diapers per package the bigger the size). Hope this helps.

Sounds normal. I suppose you will get advice telling you not to have her drink too much before she goes to sleep. I didn't look yet. Kind of hard to do when one is thirsty. Probably just a lot of extra and will change throughout the next couple of years anyway so not to worry. If she appears to be in pain always call doctor!

My son went through the same thing & I bought bigger diapers, depending on what size diaper your daughter is in you can try overnight diapers or just go to the next size up in regular diapers. As far as I know this is normal and I have had friends experience the same thing.

Totally normal!!!! The next size of diaper that should help. You can also use the plastic training pants over the diaper if it continues.

It is very normal. Be sure to change her right before you put her to bed. Even if there is very little in there. She may be needing the next size up diaper.

She is getting to be a big girl! Mine did that too. I used a night time diaper in a size larger than they wore for daytime. More soaking-up power!

My daughter does this too. She pees so much at night its crazy. Its like more than all the pee she does all day long. No matter which diapers we use, she is always soaked through her clothes every morning. I think it is normal. Since they don't wake up at night to be changed anymore, they are just really soaked by the time morning gets here.

My kids had a problem like that too!! I would use regular diapers during the day but I would use premium or supreme diapers on them at night!! It made a difference!! Good Luck!!

It happened to my son at about the same age and later everything was fine. Try different brand. I think the butts are shaped somehow differently at that age and the diapers are ill fitting for that reason.

I had a boy that did the same. I took him to the doctor and after tests found he was fine. It doesn't hurt to consult your doctor to make sure. My son urinated a lot during the night so I put used cloth diapers and had him wear more than one. It was not comfortable for him but just in bed wasn't to bad and he wasn't waking up in the middle of the night laying in urine.

We also found my son was a very heavy sleeper and his body relaxed more at night than possibly some of my other kids.

When it came time to potty train him at night, it was much easier - he wanted out of the wet diapers. I had to wake him up every hour to go to the bathroom for a couple days then every 2 hours, etc until he had trained his body to hold it all night long. It took about 2 weeks to train him at night. Good luck with both.

This is totally normal! She might need to move up a diaper size. Also, try putting another diaper on at night, but backwards. I used to put on a Huggies overnight diaper on top of her everyday diaper. That worked wonders!

Good luck and don't worry, this will stop soon!
