It's different for everyone! For me, I really hated the term "morning" sickness because it was more like "all day" sickness!!! I found that eating a cracker before even getting up helped a little. It also helped me to just nibble throughout the day instead of eating actual meals. And drinking sprite or ginger-ale helped too.

For me, the first three months were the worst, then it tapered off and came back a little in the last three months.

Hang in there - the end result is soooooooooooooooooooo worth it!!!

Good luck!!!

Morning sickness can happen at any time of the day, many times a day sometimes.

edit: You posted about your period having just stopped and started up again. If you just had your period you are not pregnant. You may be coming down with a bug or something.

I don't know why they call it morning sickness. I had it all day, for three months :-p

Varies from person to person. CVS has ginger gum. I have heard good things about it for morning sickness. It definitely helped with sea sickness. It's a bit expensive, but if it cuts down on nausea, it's a wonderful thing.

Most people do not have morning sickness until at least week 6, if not week 8. In fact, most "symptoms" do not kick in until week 6-8.

Oh yes. Morning Sickness is a misnomer. It happens all day, every day for weeks on end! Some people actually get it worse in the evenings and some people get it whenever, but there's one thing for certain - it's horrible and there's really no cure. Do talk to your doctor, though, if you are throwing up to the point of dehydration as there are medications that can help. And don't worry too much about how you're eating - baby will be fine. I ate mostly tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwiches and drank vitamin water for the first 18 weeks when I was pregnant with my twins. Later I read about protein supplements for multiples pregnancies, but my boys were both 7lbs and super healthy coming out. Find what doesn't make you sick and eat that! Good luck and congrats on the pregnancy!

You may just be sick. Why don't you want to take a test?

both. I often had 6-8 hours of nausea per day. It seemed to progress in the evenings and I had some relief in the mornings before it picked up again.
