iPhone 6 Or 6 Plus?

Need to upgrade and just assumed I'd get the smaller, less expensive 6. But am hearing people love the bigger Plus and its better camera. Can't decide if it's too big or if bigger is better? Would love to hear from you if you have an opinion!

What can I do next?

I think you'll need to go to a store and handle both of them since it's all just personal preference.

I tried to like the 6 and 6+. But both were too big so I opted for a 5s. (I don't need a big screen, I already have a tablet.)

For me personally, the 6+ was just too big. And I'm tall (6') so my hands aren't exactly tiny! I ended up getting the 6, and even with all its extra bells and whistles, I still liked the size of my 5 better. (But also, I have the Survivor case on my 6, which makes it bigger than if you just had a slim case on it, so maybe that contributes to my feeling that it's just a little bit too big?)

Do you carry your phone around in your back pocket? If so, then the 6 Plus is not for you. I have the 6 Plus and I adore it! I was looking forward to a larger phone coming out and this one is perfect for me. I rarely talk on the phone, mostly text, so the larger keypad is great. I also watch a lot of Hulu and Netflix on my phone, so the larger screen is also great. It never gets lost in my purse cuz it's nice and big. I cannot tell you how much I love my 6 Plus. My daughter has the 6 and she's happy with it, but it's too small for what I like to do with my phone. My husband has the 5 and it seems like a ridiculous little toy to me now. Did I say I love my 6 Plus? I really, really do!

To answer your question about the iPhone, I just got the regular 6 because I slip my phone into my back pocket of my jeans all the time. Or I put it in this little side pocket of my purse. The 6 plus would be too big for that. Now that I also have a case for my new 6, even it seems big vs the 5. So likely personal choice how you like to carry it. My friend got the plus and said she always puts it in her purse so is fine with the bigger size.

I have a 6. It fits perfectly into the slot inside my purse where I carry my phone (every phone I've ever had has had a designated *spot* inside my purse). The 6+ would not fit in the pocket in my purse.

Also, I run, and wear my phone in an armband when I am running. The 6 is not too big (although if it were a tiny bit shorter it would be a bit more comfortable). I cannot IMAGINE trying to wear a 6+. It just wouldn't happen. And that alone makes it a no-go for me.

So, I suppose my answer is that it depends upon what you want and how you will use it. My SIL loves her 6+ She doesn't wear it when she exercises. She may take it with her somehow (not sure) but she doesn't wear it in an armband like I do.

What I did was opt for the larger memory. :D

Oh, and for video watching... I use my ipad mini. It also fits in my purse, but I don't need to have it out unless I am sitting somewhere comfortably (in a waiting room, or at a kid's practice of some sort), and I don't always take it with me away from home. My phone goes where I go. Ipad mini, not so much.

I'm with Jill T. I went from a iphone 4 to a 6 and the 6 still seems kinda big to me. I love the bigger screen but I love being able to put it in my pocket or in my bra when I walk. My husband has some funky LG phone that seems ginormous to me! I can't stand it.

My husband has the 6+. It's too big for my delicate woman hands. LOL I will be upgrading to the 6 in about 2 months.

I would recommend going to the store and getting a feel for which phone feels better in your hands. I tried both and still maintain that 6+ is just too big for me. It's more like a minitablet instead of a phone.

We carry the 6 in our family.
Have you seen the plus? It was too big for me and didn't fit in a pocket or purse well.

I found the plus to be bothersome and way too big. Actually, the 6 is bigger than I prefer. I do have a light case on it because a big case would just make it bulkier.

The camera on the 6 is fantastic, I use it instead of my regular camera. We've had no issues with our 6 either.

I guess it depends on how you plan to use the phone. I do not watch videos and play games on my phone. I use it for my work...email calendars, etc. I have an IPad that I use to play my Word and Trivia Crack games and I still don't watch videos on IPad either.

Galaxy

Seriously, even the 6 plus has a smaller screen than the Galaxy series but the phones are smaller and more durable. Oh and the programming is more intuitive and robust. There is a reason programmers hate iStuff

Oh and starting with the S5 better camera than the iStuff

I'm dumping the iPhone on my upgrade. The camera sucks!

Not sure what I'm going with, but i know there are way better phones out there.

my younger just got a 6 plus. haven't seen it yet myself, but he says it's big (so if that bugs you, take it into consideration) but he LOVES it. it's hard for me to fathom something that does more than my 5, but he says the camera is amazing and other techy things that i don't understand as well.

I have the 5s and there is no way I would want bigger. The 6 looks great, but I'm not giving up my unlimited data. The 6+ is too big for me to even pretend to be interested in it.

I think it is all about personal preference. My husband loves his 6+, I hate using it because it just feels too large for my small hands. I am happier with my 5c.
