Wondering if anyone out there can suggest any cool iPad Aps for my 4 year-old? How about for adults too? Are there any must have Aps? Thanks:)

Alphabetic would be great, you will have to adjust the settings (options to very easy - very easy/easy). i love this one b/c it reinforces their letters and I get so frustrated when I can't beat my 10 year old (at higher settings, of course). FallDown is another simple game that my kids love. My entire family is addicted to Veggie Samurai. My 6 year old son likes Dismount...I'm not a big fan but it's harmless (not violent) and he gets a kick out of it. btw, these are all free apps. I haven't paid for an app yet but am sure that day is getting close...Enjoy.

Cookie Doodle is my kids favorite app. You mix, roll, cut, bake, decorate, and eat your own cookie creations...so much fun!

I have hundreds of apps in my iPod but I only play Words with Friends everyday (I'm ladybugb if you download it and want to play). My 7 yr old likes Skee-ball, coin dozer, aquarium, action potato, fall down, iquarium and jelly car.

**Edit: I listed the names of the games below. I just looked on our iPad.
These are free, apps.
---------------------

This is a fun one.... not 'educational' but purely for FUN.
It is called "Plants v.s. Zombies."
And no, despite the name, it is not scary nor gruesome. It is a SUPER fun game/app... and its VERY popular with kids and parents. I know, we have it on our iPad... and my whole family plays it...

Oh, there is a "golfing" game too.... sorry I forget the name. But my kids and my 4 year old son and me/Hubby play it too.
**(Its called "Stick Golf")

Oh, and there is this App, with a Cat... that 'mimics' anyone's voice and is super fun... sorry I forget the name of it... *** (Oh, its called "Talking Tom)

My Husband has all these Apps' on his iPad.... and me, him, our 2 kids... play it all! SUPER fun!

This is fun too:
City Story

Good luck,
Susan

Some of the apps that my kids (ages 7, 4, and 3) like are-
Doodle Buddy (free app!!! Even I love this one!)
Air Hockey
LineUp
WildWest (pinball game)
FlightControl
Blowfish
Farmville
Dress Up Lite
Battleship
Magnetic ABC
Virtuoso
A lot of these apps are free too!

I also have a lot of Dr. Seuss books that were apps... These you have to pay $4 per app, but the iPad reads to them, they can turn the pages, or the kids can read it themselves... These have been well worth the money as my younger kids love these apps!

As for me, I like-
Battleship
Scramble
Sudoku
Word Search
Real Solitaire Free

Go to the App Store and click on Top Charts at the bottom... It will lost apps you pay for and apps that are free... It's awesome!

I really like the quiz type apps, gives you something to do while you are sitting waiting... and I think I quite possibly might bore myself to death without bejeweled blitz... my daughter thinks I am addicted (she's right)

Good ones for kids are the drawing apps, and you tube kids videos
