Can anyone recommend a good ionic hair dryer? They seem to range all over the place in price, from $20 to $200. My hair is getting frizzy now that I'm getting older, and I would use it every 3 days or so.

Thank you for all the responses! I decided on the Conair Ion Shine 1875 hair dryer from Walmart. It was very reasonably priced and works great. I got rid of a lot of the frizz in my hair.
The Bed Head hair dryer seems to be a good one. My friends hair seems to look really good every single time she blow dries.
I have a T3 tourmaline ionic hair dryer. It's crazy expensive ($200 or so), but I love it. I have had a couple cheaper ionic dryers in the past and this one gets my hair dry about 10 minutes quicker and with less frizz.
Sally's has one and I have owned the same one for 3 years now. It is by Ion. It is great! Still works and looks like I bought it last week, very durable. I think I paid somewhere between $35-45 for it. I L.. It dries the hair so past and is less damaging as the regular heated coil dryers. It is the hooded one I have, but I believe they sell the hand held one also. Sallys usually has coupons online or in the store of some sor.

I found an awesome ionic straightener and a curling iron at a Christmas fair. It is by Jose Eber, he is a famous hairdresser. The straightener is pricey but it works very well. My mom has really dry, frizzy hair and it made her hair so shiny and soft, I am a believer in his products, maybe he has a dryer too!

I bought one about 4 yrs ago and it cost 40.00 I can't tell any difference in it and my old one! I do use a John Freida gel before I style my hair (even if it is dry)and it does help and doesn't feel greasy. My hair is slightly wavey but frizzes in humid weather.
I just bought one at Walmart for $40. It is red and it works great. I have used a friends hair dryer that was over $150 and I think this one works just as well. Can't remember the brand but it was the only red one they had.
I have a Conair Ion Shine 1875. I got it almost 2 years ago, so I am positive that they have a newer model. It is the red one (even the new one). My niece got it for me as a gift and I think she paid $25-30 for it. At first when I used it I couldn't really tell the difference between my old non-ionic model and the ionic one because my hair was short and it didn't take long to dry it either way. Now, my hair is almost down to my waist and I was stuck using my old hair dryer for a few weeks and it took forever for my hair to dry. Once I was able to use my ionic dryer I realized how much time it chops off the overall dry time! Ionic is the way to go, and there are some really good ones at the lower end of the price scale. By the way, I think my niece picked up the Conair at Walmart.
Sally's beauty supply has the best ionic dryers, I have bought the same brand from them twice b.c i broke the first one, using it so much and throwing it around. You are right, they are kinda pricy but they really do work better. check sally's.

I would recommend reading some reviews on Amazon.com and Folica.com. I bought the T3 Tourmaline Ionic hair dryer about 2 years ago and loved it at first but it didn't last. I used it about twice a week max for the entire first year and then started using it daily. After using it daily for only a month, it started shooting out sparks at me one day. I tried turning it on again and it does the same thing now and has become unusable. I paid around $200 for it and was really dissapointed in the quality. After mine started shooting out sparks, I started reading reviews on various sites from other users who also had the same issue. I would recommend staying away from the T3's. I have read various good reviews on the Chi (they also make great ceramic flat irons) and the Babyliss.
Just an FYI: I started using the Fredrick Fekkai Moisturizing Conditioner with Shea Butter and rinsing it out with cold water and have noticed a huge difference in my hair. It's definitely a lot less frizzy. The only styling product that I use and love is the Fredrick Fekkai Glossing Cream. Just a little before and after hairdrying does wonders for my hair. The Fekkai line is a litte pricey but I love it and think it's totally worth it for how my hair looks and feels.
