Intuition

I've been pregnant twice before, and both times I immediately got a feeling about what I was having--the first time it was a girl; the second time it was a boy. With this pregnancy (7 weeks along), I have the strongest feeling that I'm having twin girls. Twins do not run in my family, but every time I think about the baby, I picture two of them. So have I just convinced myself of it, or has woman's intuition kicked in here again?

I'm curious about other mothers and their gut feelings.... Have you been accurate?

What can I do next?

Yes, I believe that mom do have a gut feeling. I have and my second son has as well. We would always ask what the kids thought and he has always been right. I kept dreaming about my last child and already knew his name before he was even concieved. SO, now I have my lucky 7 and yep my last one was a boy just like I dreamed about and my gut told me.

Wishing you the best.

When I was PG the 2nd time I knew something was different but I didn't know what. Turns out it was twins - yep that is different. I found out at 12 weeks via ultrasound. I would reccomend you press for one to make sure it is (or not) twins.

I joked around when I was first pregnant with my twins that I was having two as I got big real fast and could feel them early. My best friend, who has twins, would kid me that I was having twins too because I got so big but thought that was stomach was already stretched from having two prior..when I had my first ultrasound..there they were..two heartbeats..I felt like I knew too, and then whammo!!
I hope you are having twins..they are such a blessing and a wonderful gift.

With my oldest, I knew he was a boy right away. I had dreams about he and my dad (who is passed) playing and having a good time, I just KNEW! With my youngest, I just knew he was a girl. I knew it, I had the dreams the pregnancy was different, I felt awful with him and with my first I felt great, carried different... I was SURE he was a girl. Nope, had another boy.

When I was pregnant I had dreams of a little boy and it was a girl. I still feel like (and hope) I will have a little boy someday, so maybe that was him I was dreaming of.

I knew with my first two what the sex would be, and with my first one, I knew the very moment of conception. With my third, however, I was so sure for the longest time it would be a boy. Then at about thirty weeks I had a dream that it was a girl. It was strange though cause the baby talked to me in the dream, and told me it was ok that I had kept calling her a boy, she didn't mind cause I didn't know. :P It was very odd. Lol.

I had absolutely no intuition as to the sex of my baby, but I absolutely KNEW the night I conceived that I had conceived. The ultrasound confirmed the date by the age of the fetus. I don't know how I knew, but I knew. We had been trying for almost a year and somehow that night, I just knew immediately that we had finally succeeded.

I think people can be very intuitive about these things. If you are intuitive about other stuff, I think the chances are even higher that you are right.

On the other hand, my mother, who is USUALLY very intuitive about so many things, was sure my baby was a girl. She appeared in many dreams to my mom and her name was Lily. But I ended up having a boy!

Plus, I had dreams that I was having twins, but I was only carrying one. So you never know. I'd be interested to hear what the outcome is for you, whether you are right about the gender and the twins.

I was right on with my first. I had a dream and knew exactly what HE would look like and that he would be early. The doctor told me at 20 weeks that he was a girl and that threw me for a loop, but I was right in the end (we found out for sure 2 weeks before he was born).
With my second, my husband and I both knew it was a girl. Everything about the entire pregnancy was different and there was very little room for doubt in my mind. Imagine our surprise when we found out at 30 weeks that we couldn't be more wrong! The ultrasound showed without a doubt that he was very clearly a boy.

The first time I got pregnant I knew that it was a boy, I knew by the dreams that I was having. Then with this pregnancy I knew that I was having a boy, I just had that feeling, and we had our ultrasound and we are having a boy! :)If you are having twins it sure could be a good thing. When I was pregnant with my son, my husband and I were convinced it was going to be a boy. We even called him Anders before we knew the gender. I worried what it would do to him/us if we found out it was a girl ;) But it turned out to be a boy. I am hoping to have such a strong feeling in my following pregnancies, as well.

I don't really know what to tell you but I think there is something to be said about a mother's intuition. I knew from the moment I got pregnant that I was having a girl and I was right....

My first two pregnancys I knew I was having boys! This time I really feel that it is a girl! I don't know why but I keep having dreams and everything! It is funny about the twins thing, because my oldest, who is almost 5, keeps telling me that I have two babies in my tummy! I keep saying "no, just one" and he says "no two"! It is very weird! I am 6w4d along, so who knows!

I never had any idea what I was having with either of my first 2 pregnancies. I'm 5 weeks 3 days into this one and I still have no idea. I have known a lot of people that have gotten "that feeling", though, and they all turned out to be right.
