I have heard Canyon Creek preschool in Plano is a good and very academic. I am mostly familiar with preschools in north Dallas.
My daughter is 27 months and has incredibly advanced communication skills. Her vocabulary is the size of a 6 or 7-year-old. I would like to have her in some kind of program that would challenge her. Most mother-day-out or preschool programs are way below her level. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi L.,
No, I don't have an answer for you - sorry!
But I sure am interested in finding out all that you did (activities, books, etc.) with your 27 month old daughter for her to be so smart. I have a 21 month old daughter, and would really appreciate your guidance $ advice.
Thank you for your time in advance.
Good luck with your search.
Thanks again!

I don't have a specific place to recommend, but I would suggest that you look into a montessori school or a daycare that follows the montessori curriculum. They are very good at developing children to their full potential, and challenging gifted children. I did a quick check and saw several in the Frisco area.
A few are:
West Frisco Montessori (don't know web address)

My son was also quite advanced for his age. At age 3, he could read 2nd grade chapter books and could write and spell. We had a good experience with Primrose School of Breckinridge Park in Richardson and I do know that there are locations in Frisco, as well. I would suggest that you check into them.
