so someone I know at work committed insurance fraud and I'm not sure what to do with that information?? Should I report this person to the insurance company or not? I do not have daily contact with this person and I could turn them in anonymously. What should I do? Getting tired of people ripping off the insurance companies and WE pay for it!!!

What can I do next?

I would report it anonymously so that it can be investigated. If you know the company, that would be good, or you can report to IFB https://www.insurancefraudbureau.org/report/.

If you know they did for a FACT then report them. But you need to be absolutely sure before you put someone through this...How do you know?

I know how you feel, however my mom raised me to never do such a thing, unless someone would be in danger and I agree....
Insurance companies rip us of as well......trust me !!!!!!!
And since I truly believe in KARMA, this will come back one day to these people, when they at least expect it.....

Well if someone robbed someone wouldn't you call the police?

This is only directed at the Karma post, I am a big Karma kind of person so wouldn't ignoring theft cause you to be robbed if you ignore it? The only bad Karma that could come of reporting is if you are a thief yourself. Sure then turning another one in would increase the chances of you being caught.

So far as the Karma of the guy doing the fraud you don't trouble yourself with other people's Karma.

Hi Olliesmon As american citizens it is our obligation to report any known crimes, people who tell you it's not your business and you should do nothing probably have never been a victim of fraud, well we have and we have the FBI on the case right now, If you witnessed a back robbery would you not report it? not reporting crinme just aids in the criminal dooing it again, by reporting it you may save someone down the road a hardship due to this person. Karma has nothing to do with this, for those of you who believe so think about it this way, maybe a repoted crimal may save you from fraud some day. J.

It's none of your business so you should do nothing. Yeah, it sucks they did it but not only do you probably not know the whole story but like I said, it's none of your business. And I wouldn't want to mess with Karma like that... It doesn't really effect you so it shouldn't be bothering you that much.
