Becca,
I do not have a reference for you regarding health insurance, but I do have a question for you regarding your in home day care.
I have a 7 month old who I need to put into day care. Do you have a spot available for an infant? If so, where are you located and how much do you charge?
Thanks,
A. H.
Hello Becca, I was actually looking into this for my self. Their is a website that will make it easy for you to search the best insurance company 4 you. It is: https://www.ehealthinsurance.com/
Also you mentioned you have an in home daycare. Where are you located? What are your care hours? What age do you take? I have a 2.4 year old that I'm looking for care. I've been home with my boys and am trying to get back into working days. Let me know, my email is ____@____.com

I use Blue Cross Blue Shield of KC for our individual plans. Our medical plan comes with preventive dental coverage which is nice! :)
Coventry Health Care has plans less expensive than Blue Cross Blue Shield. Same coverages, hospitals, etc..., but was able to cut premiums for myself and the baby from $600+ per month to $384 total for both of us - that's a PPO.
When I was staying home with my daughter I used Blue Cross Blue Shield of KC. You can go to their website www.bcbskc.com and print out information about the plans and the cost associated with them.
Good Luck.
