Help! We are trying to install about 850sqft of wod flooring. Does anyone know of a reputable person or business? Also, very important if you could give me an estimate of costs. I'm not sure if it's 3000, 6000, or even more.

Also, does anyone know of a good sprinkler repair man. Somehow my dog took the top off one of the sprinklers at ate the wires,

We are in McKinney.

Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!

What can I do next?

We used Dungan Floors in McKinney (on Virginia just west of 75) and have been very happy with them. Think it cost us around $5000. We replaced the family room, hallway and entryway with wood.

HI- You can certainly call Josh Gallini at ###-###-####. He is an independent general contractor and can fix your sprinkler head as well as take care of the wood flooring for you. As far as the price for the flooring- it will depend on the type of flooring you pick. He has installed several wood floors and can give you references. Message me if you have any questions.
Good luck! You are going to love your new floors.

You can call my husband for sprinklers. He is very thurough and has great customer service! He is licensed. do not go with someone who is not licensed through the state of TX. My friend decided to and now she can't sell her house until she gets everything up to state code.....Good luck with whom ever you choose. Have a great day!

For the floors we used Tuscan Floors at the corner of 121 & Custer (next to the Target). They did a wonderful job and gave us a great price (they did better than a friend who bid it wholesale, she honestly didn't understand how they could do it so cheap). We have been very happy with the job they did. They charged us almost $6000, but that included everthing (removing old tile/carpet, trim, removing tile around fireplace and replacing with tavertine) I think our sq footage was a bit more, around 900-950, but I'm not for sure.

Good luck, you are going to love the wood!

We used Nadine's Floor Company in Plano. ###-###-####. They did a great job! They removed our molding, painted it and replaced it rather than having shoe molding. We had shoe molding the first time we installed a wood floor and it looks much better without the shoe molding. Also, make sure you buy a wood floor that can be refinished if needed. We have used Andy's Sprinkler Service for our sprinklers. ###-###-####.

For the wood floors, I recommend calling Richie at ###-###-####. Not sure what he charges as we got a "friend of the family" discount. He is in NE Frisco - so very close to McKinney.

we had a great independent guy in frisco do ours last summer, i think we ended up with a little over 1000sq ft. and paid right around 7K. we had naildown subflooring put in and then they laid the floor and it also included the hand scraping and staining and finished out trim work with the shoemoulding. I'd have to get the info from my husband, so if you are interested...just message me and i can try to track it down
