I never got morning sickness. Fatigue was a big one though and it seemed I could never eat enough. Are you feeling irritable? I would look for how you felt with the first pregnancy.

1. If you knew that day, you could have gotten a prescription for the day after pill. It prevents implantation.
2. If you are very concerned, go get a blood test run from the Dr. That will tell you.

Try buying a test at the drug store. Those are fairly accurate.

were you ovulating at the time? it depends. for me, i never realy got sick. i felt a little nausea a few times, but that was it. but what realy gave me the signals were tender breasts, extreme fatigue, and body temperature changes. like if everyone else was feeling ok, i was burning up or freezing. so, it's defferent for each person and each pregnancy, i think. i'd wait a week, and then take an e.p.t, and maybe take it again in another week if it shows negative. i think sometimes it takes a couple weeks for a test to pick up on it.

They say you have to have enough hormone build up to feel it. But, I started within a few days with my last few children. I just sometimes wonder if it's in my head because I'm expecting it. YKWIM?

You can test positive these days around days 10-12. I have tested positive on days 9 and 10 before but both of those ended in miscarriage. I don't know if the early surge in hormones had anything to do with it.

you probably won't know until about the time of your period (that is when the symptoms usually start showing as well). You might start to have some symptoms a few days before your period should start (like morning sickness, fatigue, tender breasts), but in general most symptoms don't start until the 6th week or so. Best thing I can tell you to do, is take a test on the day your period is supposed to start.

With all my pregnancies,4 total, my morning sickness begain very early. About 2-3 weeks after conception.I have had 2 miscarriages and 2 lie births. With my last pregnancy, morning sickness was the way I found out that I was indeed pregnant. I got sick in the a.m. and felt fine so I decided I needed to take a test and it was positive! This happened right before I was to start fertility drugs.

Every pregnancy is different. With my first one, I was so sick I could hardly move (I think I had a bug on top of the morning sickness)and it wasn't just in the morning and I was sick through the whole pregnancy. My second one, I only got sick if I did anything on the computer or watched to much TV. My Dad always said that he could tell when my Mom was pregnant because she would stop watching her birds and fish because they would make her sick. Usually if you have these kinds of symptoms, you will notice before the pregnancy test will tell you. However, since it is cold and flu season, don't assume you are pregnant just cause you get sick. I can take a test in about a month and know for sure. I know that is a long time to agonize over it but it will work out.

If you are really concerned and know your cycle pretty well you can count the days I just took anatomy and was told most women ovulate near day 14 of their cycle give or take a day or two. The pregnancy hormones shouldn't be strong enough if you are pregnant until you are far enough along to test positive, if you feel sick before that it is probably just in your head. I know thought I was maybe pregnant a few months ago and was feeling very sick starting the day after I relized I had missed my pill for two days in a row it was just in my head. I know that scary feeling though I got pregnant the first time we tried with both my girls. Good Luck

Most pregnancy tests can tell you if you're pregnant when you're within a few days of a missed period.

V.,

It all depends on the person. It took me almost a year to get pregnant with my oldest, who is now 8 1/2. Then it took me 7 1/2 years to get pregnant with my 20 1/2 month old; and I am now expecting my third little blessing in the next 6 weeks. my youngest will be 2 on 4-4-08. Again the morning sickness thing depends on the person. I did not start showing morning sickness until I was 10 weeks; with my youngest it was about 6 weeks; and with this one it was about 8 weeks. Each pregnancy is different. If you feel concerned call and discuss it with your physician.
