It took a few days for my supply to increase. Make sure you're taking enough too - I took 4 capsules 4 times a day to begin with, and once the supply was up, I took 3 capsules 4 times a day. If you and baby don't smell like maple syrup, then you're not taking enough :)

I didnt think it was going to work either at first but it does. I will take maybe a week or so before it starts working but it does its thing!! I hope that helps you greatly I know it helped me and I stopped taking it recently just because I was going to wean my son but my milk is still in there and he is now 7 1/2 months old.

It took a couple weeks and a lot of extra pumping, nursing. I felt like a human cow.
I am praying for you and your little one.

It takes about a week to two weeks.

Fenugreek is good butnot the best. If you added alphalfa dandelion root and marshmallow you would be doing really good!

Up your water A LOT!!! It takes about 7 hours for what you intake to process into breastmilk.

I have relactated several times.

At one point I was drinking 4 quarts of water before noon everyday for 3 weeks since my lowest point in my comeback was in the evening.

If you get the dandelion root in a tincture instead of in the capsul form it will work a lot quicker as it is absorbed into the system faster in that form.

If you need anyother help just ask =-)

Another product you might try is Mother's Milk. It is an organic herbal tea that promotes healthy lactation. My lactation consultant recommended it with my first son. It does have fenugreek in it along with fennel, aniseed, coriander, and more. I used it after the birth of both of my children and it really seemed to help my milk supply, especially with my second child. I bought mine at the Vitamin Shoppe. It tastes good and is relaxing too.

Another thing to think about is making sure you are eating well. I know that if you are not getting enough calories it can decrease your milk supply.

Good luck, I know how stressful it can be. Don't forget that you are still a good mom even if you are having trouble nursing.

I really suggest contacting Jennifer Jacobs-she's the Spartanburg La Leche League leader. She has helped so many women establish good breastfeeding relationships-and it's free! We're actually having a meeting Thursday night at Mary Black. PM me if you want her # or email address.
