Can you please give me your experiences relating to Legoland? We have a 3.5 YO and are thinking about going there this summer. Is it worth the $? IS she the right age? Can it be done in 1 day? Thanks!

What can I do next?

we are not from San Diego but di take my oldest after our second was born so he was about 2 1/2. he had a blast. he was tall enough to go on most of the rides he wanted to go on and was very excited to see all the characters done in legos. We did the sea world(same trip as Lego land) and Disney land(4 years old) thing too but he had more fun at lego land. He was pooped after the long day but he had fun. Look for coupons or if you know anyone in the military sometimes they get big discounts. We are going to try to go again this summer now that my middle son can enjoy it too. good luck

I moved to AZ from San Diego 2 years ago right after I had my son so I have never been there but I do have a girlfriend that still lives there and she has a 4 year old and she has only ever taken him once. She would just as soon take him to Sea World and Disneyland. As a matter of fact she has year round passes to those two places every year because she takes him so often and he enjoys them so much. I hope this helped.

Legoland is great! He will enjoy it. Even if he's not into legos much. It's a great amusement park. Bring a bathing suit because there are lots of opportunities to get wet. My kids loved that the most. You can go for just one day, but I would not plan on making it through the whole park unless you are really determined. Just map out what you want to do ahead of time. We went when the kids were 3.5 and 2. We are returning this year with our now 5 and 3 year olds. Have fun!

We took our 3 year old son in March. He loved it. You can do the park in a day, but we spent 2 days. This let our son go on his favorite rides again. There will be a few rides your daughter will be too small for, but most of the park is designed for young children. We enjoyed it so much, we ended up purchasing a season pass. Our son asks us daily when we are going to go back. Go...you won't regret it.
