Babies r Us is good too...and they have portrait packages just like the others. Good luck!
I am having a hard time choosing between Sears, JC Penny or Portrait People for my 2 month old portraits. Any comments??
We ended up going to JC Penney in Valecia, - coupon. The photographer, Jenny was really nice and pleasant, but our little angel did not want any part of it. After 1 1/2 hours of trying to get "that perfect smile" we gave up, we ended up with only 16 pics, but I think we were able to pick out some pretty decent ones. Thanks again for your responses!!

I live in Moorpark. I went to Picture People for my first son's portraits. They were okay. I was visiting my cousin and saw these beautiful portraits of her babies. I though she went to some super expensive photographer (her husband is a major league baseball player). I was shocked to find out she just went to Sears! So, when the time came for my second child's infant portraits, I went to the Sears in T.O. Although I paid the same amount as with Pic People, I was so much happier with my Sears portraits. I had a 9-picture collage done where they had little close ups of his little body parts in several of them (e.g. eyes, fists, feet, smile, etc). If you want me to email a jpg of them to you to get an idea, I certainly can. Just let me know.
Best of luck!

We use Picture People too... they're usually really good. You can usually find a coupon for them online.

Although we use a truly professional photographer for special occassion, we always use Picture People or Kiddie Kandids (in Babies R Us). The people are friendly and helpful :) AND they are digital so your pics are ready right after you take them! Prices are better at Kiddie Kandids, and both places always have coupons! I have not heard such great things about Sears or JCPenney.
Have fun! S.
