This is a fabulous idea! The younger you get them in and keep them in the water, the more comfortable and experienced they will be when it is time to teach them to swim and or save their own lives!
I was a swim instructor for years and now coach and teach all ages in the area. I just don't offer mom-n-tot classes due to my schedule. Have you checked the keller natatorium? I have included the spring link. If they don't have something on the schedule when you are hoping for, you can always call up there and request a class (finding friends and their babies to take it too is VERY helpful). That pool staff is very accomodating and friendlier (one of the best in the area). Don't be afraid to ask for what you want; they benefit from your interest, too. Let me know how this goes; I can poke around for you if your "mom brute" doesn't work. My babies were in when the umbilical blue came off and my eleven year old saved a life when she was 8 yrs old just because she knew the water and knew what to do. It's never to early... good luck!
