I want to pierce my 4 month old daughter's ears but I want it done by someone reputable and experienced. Apparently Kaiser doesn't do it. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

What can I do next?

I took my daughter at 6 months old to the mall and had it done at Claires. Its best if there are two girls working that way they can do both ears at the same time. We called ahead to ask who was the best for doing it, and made sure it wasn't anyone's first time. It went smoothly and her earrings are perfectly in line, unlike my own, which were done when I was a baby by my doctor.

I would call your pediatrician and get their recommendation. Some pediatricians will do it. I know my doctor does it (Dr. Trager). That is the only way I would go. Good Luck!

Have you spoken with your pediatrician? I have read in several different parenting magazines that a lot of moms have it done in the pedi office. I had both my daughters done at the local mall. Both good results.

Have your pediatrician do it - most offices do it, and more often than you would think! Just give them a call, and if your peds offices doesn't do it, Im sure they can suggest a place that is reputable.
