Infant Constantly Spitting Up

My month old baby seems to be spitting up almost as much as I am feeding him. This has happened most recently since we are now strictly formula (not by choice). We were on similac with iron and now he is taking Good start brand that is suppose to be like breast milk. He's drinking very quickly, as if he has never been fed before, and when we take the bottle away to burp him, he cries horrible cries. I have already bought a sleep positioner to elevate his head when he sleeps because we thought it might be gas. He coughs a lot in his sleep and it seems like every other feeding he is spitting up to no more then 2 1/2oz after being fed. We are giving him the mylecon gas drops, but my instincts tell me its something more. He cries sometimes after feeding as if he is in a lot of pain, and other times he is fine. I don't know if this is something all baby's go through, or if I should make a point to call the pediatrician soon to see if its an allergy, reflux, ect. Please help, we are running out of quess's as to what might be the problem.

Call the dr. It's sounds like reflex and he may be allergic to cow's milk, formula has some cow's milk in it.

I would call the doctor. Most infants get gas but rarely spit up more than a teaspoonful while burping.

Take him to the Dr. as the milk might be causing it Or he may have reflux. You can also try changing the formula to Lactose specific ones, and see if that helps.
