Hi L. - I am not outdoorsie either!! I have a few suggestions, things that I wish my hubby and I could do.
1. Rent a movie at those dollar rental places. They are in little booths outside of Fred Meyer or Albertson's. Then, when the little ones go to bed, make an ice cream sunday, or pop some pop-corn and watch a movie that you have been meaning too, but jsut haven't had the time.
2. Have friends or family watch your kids for the day, pack a lunch and walk on the ferry. Picnic at the other side.
3. With the kids, when the weather gets a little better, you could go to Edmonds when the tide is out. You can see crabs, mussels, and other sea creatures, plus the kids can jump around in the water.
4. Have a Pot-luck/barbque at your house. I noticed in your other postings though that you weren't really fond of his friends. So maybe invite the least offensive, or your friends.
5. Have someone take the kids in the evening, and go see some live music!! Jazz Alley often has some music, or you could just go to a club (although you are in Snohomish, so you will have to travel into seattle!!) YOu often just have to pay the cover at clubs ($10) and some places have ladies night, so you would be free!
THat's all I got for now. YOu could also save $20 a week, and then at the end of the month you got about $80 and then you and hubby could have a "real" date night, dinner and dancing! Good Luck, L.
