There's one in Woburn. I think it's called Kids Playground (how appropriate). I haven't been, but I hear they have a toddler room and another room for bigger kids.
Hello All, Dad and I are wondering if anyone knows where there are any indoor playgrounds in the areas of Somerville, Medford, Cambridge, Woburn, etc... I am new to Somerville (Originally from California) and I hear that's were other parents take their children when the weather turns cold. Thank you :)

Hi, there is an indoor playground in Woburn. I am not sure of the name, I think Kids playground, childrens playground, something like that. It is on Olympia Ave. Over by Charette, you may have seen the sign for Charette off the highway. I have been there a few times. You have to pay to get in, forget how much, $8 maybe? You can't bring your own food though, and the food there is not very good. So plan on eating before or after. Also, there is a place in Reading at Jordan's furniture. If you are just looking for something to do, they have what they call Liquid fireworks, which is a water spray show to music. They have an ice cream stand there as well as a jelly belly jellybean store. We go there a lot with our 5 and 3 year old daughters. They love it. Have fun!
There is a nice space in Arlington, called Together in Motion. It's address is 1 Broadway. It is right near Rte 16. There is a web site that you can visit to find out more information. I've been there about half a dozen times, and it is nice.
Another place I've heard of is Belmont Play Space. It is a cooperative center. It is open from November through April(or something like that). Membership costs $45, and you need to also put in time there helping to run it. I've heard mixed things about it--some love it, others aren't as happy about the cleanliness. I have not tried the Belmont Play Space, but it is another place for you to consider.
Hope this helps,
S.
I do not know if there is one by you but try the web for pumpitup.com. I just went there for a birthday party yesterday and they have open play times for 8 dollars frist child and 4 dollars each additional child. There is 2 rooms filled with blow up slides, bouncy things and obstacle coarse. Weight limit is 700lbs. Yes I was in there with my children and I think that I had just as much fun as my children did. It was great!!!!
